How to Smudge

To cleanse any space's energy, simply light a stick and then blow out the flame allowing it to smoulder. Once the smoke becomes white gently waving the stick in the air and begin purifying the space by placing a prayer on the smoke and wafting the smoke up into the air. If you are cleansing a new house, start at the entrance and work your way back towards the end of the house concentrating on the corners of each room.
